about me

Even as a little girl, I was starry eyed. I devoured books about philosophy and the cosmos and gazed up into the night sky asking questions like:
What is the meaning of life?

Only three decades into this journey did I finally come to realize these words by American writer Joseph Campbell:

People say that what we’re all seeking is the meaning for life. I don’t think that’s what we’re really seeking. I think that what we’re seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive.

For me, spirituality is not a list of creeds carved in stone. It is a living, breathing, dynamism–a perpetual unfolding of Life itself. You and I–and everything we see and can’t see–is a part of that same one, infinite life.

I Am You and You Are Me

Seat of Conscious Awareness

I believe life wasn’t meant to be a self-improvement project. It’s not even meant to be a classroom (as I used to think). Sure, engaging the inner journey will no doubt improve our lot. Undoubtedly, we’ll ideally learn many things.

What I mean is simply that life–yours and mine and everyone’s–has intrinsic value.

You are valuable not FOR any specific purpose but simply because you exist.

And each of us is happier, more at peace, more inspired, and more loving when we live from this sacred seat of conscious awareness.

Educational Background & Training

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of California, Irvine, where I graduated Phi Beta Kappa and served as my college’s Commencement Speaker. I went on to earn my Juris Doctor from Stanford Law School where I also began alternative dispute resolution training. I later formally trained (40 hours) and practiced mediation through the Northern California Mediation Center as well.

After practicing litigation as well as mediation in Northern California for eight years, I left my law career to pursue an inner calling to further the evolution of consciousness.

This journey took me to seminary in the Midwest, where I reside to this day. I earned a Master of Divinity from Unity Institute & Seminary and have been a licensed and ordained Unity minister since 2015.

I spent five years in church ministry at the founders church of the Unity movement, Unity Temple on the Plaza. As a church minister, I founded an inter-spiritual, interactive Sunday service called “U-Nite” and founded and directed Unity’s Enneagram school where I taught the Enneagram and spirituality and facilitated Contemplative Practices & the Enneagram (“CPE”) support and practice groups.

As I witnessed Enneagram-informed transformation quickly becoming the most impactful, deeply transformational work I was doing, I realized that I would have to leave my salaried associate minister position and take yet another leap of faith.  In 2019,  I left church ministry to found Evolving Enneagram so I could offer Enneagram- informed spiritual transformation work full-time and beyond church walls.

The Enneagram

I’ve been studying the Enneagram since 2002 and teaching it since 2007. I’m honored to be among only 25 Enneagram professionals around the globe who have received the mark of Accredited Professional with Distinction with the International Enneagram Association. I am also a Certified Enneagram professional through the Awareness to Action IEA-accredited program and a Certified Somatic Enneagram™ practitioner and mentor to those certifying with the Somatic Enneagram.™

Since 2019, I’ve have the privilege of presenting professionally in numerous international forums, in countries including Egypt, Denmark, Mexico, the United States, and Sweden and at online global summits that have reached as many as 40k+ people in over 150 countries at a time.

As the Founder and Principal Teacher for Evolving Enneagram, I lead a cadre of dynamic faculty who nurture wholeness, unity, love, and belonging through the intersection of contemplative practices, compassionate community, and the Enneagram. Personally, I also still mentor individuals 1:1 because it is something I simply love to do.

Teach only love, for that is what you are.
